Tutorial:
1) Key tips taken from the article on plagiarism is to cite all work taken from others, make enough time for yourself to do your research, talk to teacher or others as a means of help when citing and learn the type of citation needed in your paper.
2) This can help with my work because it helps me learn how I can quote and paraphrase.
Article:
1) Plagiarism, to me, is the copying of another's work with no recognition given to the original author.
2) I should be personally concerned with plagiarism because if I were to plagiarize, I could be sent to jail. Not only would this ruin my life, but it would be on my permenant record for colleges and jobs to see.
3) I could become a better writer when putting things into my own words, I can cite different sources to incorporate new information into my papers and lastly, I could always cite works to be sure I'm not plagiarizing.
4) Taken from the Video Book:
Student A (Plagiarized): LEDs are a recently developed form of lighting.
Student B (Correct): "LEDs are a recently developed form of lighting" (Stinson 238).
5) I think many people use plagiarism as an easy way out to avoid having to do more work.
